A nice sunny spring morning, and the estuary was doing its stuff.
We got down to see Al really blasting. He told us he was on a 5.0.
We both rigged our 5.2's. The wind dropped a little as we went out and I
struggled to get going, but after a while it came back, so I was fully
powered up. Sarah was blasting all the time; being a bit lighter... and on
the same size sail.
We used the two Zantos' - I think we both sailed well - and I certainly
felt I was getting to grips with the smaller board. After a while we
changed boards and I then had a nice blast on the bigger one. Sarah made a
very nice, controlled waterstart as well, (we both made some; but I'm not
quite so elagant).
The sun was out; the sky was blue; (don't worry I'm not singing). It was a
nice sail - lots of people out as well. A good day.
